A number of students from first and second year undertook the Trócaire 24 Digital Detox last Wednesday 14th March. The girls were asked to give up social media for a day and raise sponsorship for those affected by the landslides in Sierra Leone. While the girls found it difficult to give up their Snapchat steaks, they were successful in raising awareness to the campaign. They also felt quite liberated being free from their phones for the day and even thought they might use their phones less in the future. Congratulations to all the girls who took part and raised €160 for this worthy cause.
