This year during Health Week St Mary’s took on a New Walking Challenge – The Walk Around Ireland Challenge!
We wanted St Mary’s community to challenge their activity levels by walking everyday.
Our challenge was to record approximately how far we could Walk Around Ireland in One Week.
Full Coastline of Ireland = 5631km!!
Students Challenge – During PE classes we walked approximately = 5,300km
Teachers Challenge – Teachers also took part during the week. At the end of the week all their totals amounted to: = 381km
