First Year Football BlitzSt. Marys went to Malahide on Wednesday the 18th of March for a first & second year Gaelic Football Blitz.They played three games which now qualifies them for the quarter finals.They played their first game, finishing up on a strong scoreline of 7.4 to 2.2Next was Malahide C.S who were much tougher opponents but the girls showed great commitment and came out with a 3.5 to 1.5 win.Lastly they played Le Chéile Blanchardstown and won comprehensively, 6.12 to 1.3.The girls as a panel did excellently and did their school proud, led by captain Nicole.Their Quarter final blitz is on in Portmarnock on the 15th of April.
