On 1st October 2016, St Patrick’s College Drumcondra, Mater Dei Institute of Education and Church of Ireland College of Education were formally incorporated into DCU. The process has resulted in the creation of the new DCU Institute of Education. St Mary’s Schola Choir were honoured last night to be invited to perform at the star studded ‘Evening of Celebration to mark the Historic and Successful Completion of Incorporation’. The finale of the evening was a performance of Leonard Cohen’s ‘Hallelujah” by our Schola Choir, the DCU Lumen Chorale, the Laetare Vocal Ensemble and the DCU Campus Choirs led by soloist Casey Harris.
