Congratulations to our new Ember Team who were commissioned by Bishop Eamon Walsh on Wednesday 11th September after completing their three day training programme in Ovoca Manor in Avoca Co. Wicklow. Over the course of the three days the team underwent team building activities, moments of self-development and self-discovery as well as moments of reflection and prayer. They were joined by 7 other schools from the Dublin Dioceses. This is the 5th Ember team to be commissioned for St.Mary’s and we are very proud of our Embers and all they do for the school community, they are a great witness of ‘faith in action’ in our school.
