Faith Friends 2017
Our Faith Friends programme for 2017 finished this week.
The 5th year students and confirmation classes in St Bridget’s met up once a week over three weeks and worked together on the programme. Our fifth year students approached their role as Faith Friends with great interest and enthusiasm. They enjoyed meeting the sixth class girls, getting to know them and passing on their faith, as well as their own experience of Confirmation.
On Tuesday, the sixth class girls came to the Convent Chapel for a Prayer Service to conclude the Faith Friends Programme. Fr. Richard officiated at the Prayer Service. The theme of the service was the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. 🔥 🔥 🔥Â
Our girls presented the sixth class girls with Certificates of Completion of the Programme and there was great excitement as cards and chocolate were exchanged at the end.
We would like to thank all those who helped to make the programme such a success this year and in particular the girls of 5 Ash and 5 Birch who were great examples of the living faith of the school.
