Join us for our four week Attendance Campaign – Every School Day Counts – Every student who achieves full attendance between Tuesday 19th November and Monday 16th December will be rewarded with a certificate of achievement and will be entered into a draw for a grand prize!
Dear Parents/Guardians,
We are delighted to be one of the 1700+ schools that have registered for the Tusla Educational Support Services (TESS) ‘Every School Day Counts’ attendance campaign.
TESS reports that the success of this initiative among the first schools to register, in raising public awareness of the importance of school attendance, has greatly exceeded their expectations. The hope is that as many schools as possible can come on board, and roll out their attendance campaigns. We are delighted to announce that our campaign will be running for four weeks from Tuesday 19th November until Monday 16th December inclusive. During this time we would encourage parents and guardians to encourage full attendance.
The importance of attendance for academic attainment is well known and we all want every student to reach their full potential. The campaign begins on Tuesday and every student who has perfect attendance during these dates will be presented with a certificate issued by TESS and the school to acknowledge this achievement. 
They will also be entered into a draw for a grand prize the winner of which will be announced before Christmas. 
The tips below have been compiled by parents for parents and might prove useful while engaging with the campaign over the next four weeks and into the future.
