Our Faith Friends programme started on Tuesday 31st of January. For four weeks before their Confirmation, the 6th class students in St Brigid’s GNS, Glasnevin prepare for their Confirmation with a 5th year student. The 5th year student becomes a special Faith Friend to the Confirmation student helping them to prepare for the Sacrament. It is a specially structured programme which encourages the 6th class students to speak about their lives, ambitions and worries, showing them how unique and special each one of them is and to recognise and celebrate their gifts and talents.

It also helps the 5th year students to share some of their experiences of their faith journey and their everyday life while reflecting on how faith affects the daily life of each person.

The programme will end with a prayer service in our school Oratory on the last Tuesday.
