On Friday April 12th April 2013 1st year class Orchid went to the botanic gardens to look at and learn more about limestone pavement. We had a booklet to fill out and draw the limestone pavement area in it. By going to see this it gave us a clearer idea of what limestone pavement really is. When we got there we saw blocks of limestone laid out similar to that seen in the Burren Co. Clare. Our teachers Ms O Neill, Ms Byrne, Ms Curren and Ms Drea came with us. Aisling
