Yesterday Thursday 6th April was a truly fantastic day for soccer in St Mary’s as the U15 team was victorious against Alexander College in the Leinster 1/4 finals. The score at the end of normal time was 1-1 due to a cracker of a penalty taken by Rugile Auskalynyte in the last minute. This led to 10 minutes of extra time which ended without the badly needed score. In a nail biting penalty shoot-out, Mary’s girls stepped up to the mark with unstoppable goals from Chloe Lepla, Jade Callery and Ciara Whelan and super saves from Goalkeeper extraordinaire Chanice Dolan.
