Congratulations to 1 Gifford who won the competition conducted by our new prefects as part of our whole school ‘Go Green’ initiative. The aim is to recycle 100% of our waste eventually and great progress is being made towards that end. All classrooms have been fitted with a large green bin and a small black bin for foodstuffs only. The new prefects monitored the success rate of this scheme over the first few weeks and 1 Gifford proved themselves to be the class most committed to the cause. The prize was a class trip to The Gem on Glasnevin Hill with Mr Montague and Ms Bourke for the best Ninety-Nines in Dublin! Congratulations to the TY students who have been driving this initiative as part of the Green Schools programme. Your hard work is beginning to pay off! Well done to all!
